GeoTag 2.0 released
I've added the ability to select multiple items to GeoTag. This is helpful if you've taken many images at the same location. Select the images and place a marker on the map. All of the selected images will be given the appropriate location when your changes are saved.

The down side of my recent changes is dropped support for Leopard (OS X 10.5) and 32-bit systems. If you're running on Leopard or on older 386 32-bit hardware you'll have to use version 1.8 or earlier. Links to both versions 2.0 and 1.8 are on the GeoTag page.

SMBC Riders Gallery Updated, again
Third week of the year and the third Riders Gallery update. Guess we're making up from the paucity of pictures taken in 2011. [link]

GeoTag 1.8
I have a user. Maybe even two. An email from a GeoTag user noted two issues, one of which was easy to address. While in the code I also found and fixed a bug. The error was benign under Leopard and Snow Leopard; not so under Lion. The program hung under Lion if you tried to quit with edited locations. Fixed.

A dmg of the current version is here and on github. The source code is on github.

SMBC Riders Gallery update
I added a picture taken of the group after breakfast this morning to the SMBC Riders Gallery. No, I don't know why everyone was facing Carl. I also finished the video of the ride to breakfast last Sunday shot with my latest video gadget, a Drift Innovation HD 170 Stealth camera. The Stealth model got highly discounted by Amazon as a newer, smaller model of the camera was recently released. This one is small enough. [link]
