Helmets -- when do you change?

Just curious as to how long people keep their helmets.  I just replaced
mine and all I can say is wow... what a difference in fit.   I didn't
realize how much the old helmet had loosened until I put on the new one.
I replaced a Schuberth Concept large with a Schuberth Concept large so
I am comparing like to like.

Looking back it seems I change helmets about every 50 K miles.  What do
the rest of you do?
