Re: Where's the List?

Bob, the noise is definitely coming from the shock itself. One of the
first things I did was to slack off both mounting bolts and try it that way.
It still creaked. I took it back to the dealer today, and they are sending
it back Monday. I commute so I regularly put 250-300 miles a week on the
bike. I had the shock on a couple weeks. The sound didn't even begin to go
away, and is worse in the morning when it's colder. Gary Prickett suggested
that this might be a "Monday Morning" shock. Could be. Right after I
installed it and it made noise, I called Works myself. There was NO ONE
there. I got shuttled to different voicemails that all said they were at
the Cincinnati(?) motorcycle show. Anyway it looks like my shock may have
been one assembled just prior to when everyone was gearing up for the show.
Don't know, but I guess it's possible. Anyway, not big deal, it is going to
get fixed or I'll get my $ back and I'll buy something else.
