Clapped-out Bing



John,  I had the same problem! But it happened around 145,000 miles. I
figured it out with help of the return spring breaking. I replaced them
both, the left one was the worst. But I found out that you buy just the
shaft and the butterfly screws (important ). I don't know if you get the
seals with them. The bushings seem to be just okay, if I only knew.
   Runs fine now.  I got the info on the MOA oilheads list  will try to
find the link and send it later
