I can remember the last two seasons being impressed watching some of the 
1000+cc superbike motorcycle racing at Mid-Ohio. What impressed me the most 
was the lap times of the 600cc and 250cc classes. The lap times of the 
leaders of all three classes were within a second or so of each other. It 
seems to me that in the right hands, almost any bike can walk circles around 
an R1, or a Hyabusa or whatever.
