RE: oilheads-digest V4 #208

Hi Matt,

If you're talking about an R1100s, you're dead right matey !
And you'll find the need to purchase (steal-beg-borrow) a Torx TX-40
screwdiver to remove the mirrors (to remove the screen to remove the
headshell to remove the cover to expose the instrument to remove the back
cover to reveal the globe ...)

Only takes an hour or so.

Subject: Change instrument light really that hard?

The left side of my tach is dim. I purchased a new bulb and THEN read the
book. My dad used to joke about seemingly small jobs like this that started
with "remove rear bumper"

Do I really have to take nearly all the skin and windshield off to replace
this bulb?
