Bath remodel: Week 20

Five stone workers showed up the day after Christmas and worked quite hard getting the first bits of wall up the stairs and into the bathroom. The stone (and the work) look quite nice.

More work on the walls, Wednesday. There is a seam that, for consistency, will be at the same level for all walls, even those that could conceivably be made from one piece.

On Thursday they worked on some of the stone-work around the window. As seems to by typical with this house the existing wall/trim around the window was not plumb and the two sides didn't have quite the same spacing. Luckily, the differences will be hidden by the curtains. Friday measurements and a template of the floor was made. That's it for the year 2000.
