Bath remodel: Week 21

Shower walls and ceiling Shower ceiling Washing area wall About 5 more pieces of stone went up Wednesday, four of which went in the shower area. The second picture on the left is taken from about where the shower door will be, looking up toward the ceiling. Looks quite nice.

left wall unit The floor heating vent was moved in preparation for the cabinets. The first picture below shows how sheet metal was used in the cabinet base to redirect the air out from the moved vent. The rest of the pictures show the cabinets going in. The knobs haven't arrived yet. The cabinet top will be surfaced in Marble. Currently the cabinet door will open over the top. I don't know if that will be true after the stone is added.

The wiring comes through the back of the cabinet at the right side of the right wall unit. The switches will be mounted in the cabinet wall.
