Bath remodel: Week 7

The steam generator arrived Wednesday along with some more of the plumbing fixtures. Wednesday they prepared the floor in the `wet' area with the proper slopes. A new section of siding was added where the small window was removed. A frame for the `instant on' hot water heater was also added.

The plumbers showed up in force on Thursday. Mitsuko and I selected the positions for the shower valves and outlets. Lots of copper tubing and vents are in our walls.

Friday was plumbing and furnace ducting work. The steam generator is in place, sitting in a copper basin that drains to the outside just in case of a leak. The pressure release overflow tubing will go to the wash basin drains. There's a lot of copper in our walls.
