The deck over the east balcony is lifted to evaluate the condition of the roof extension and the flashing.

The medicine chest/light was removed to protect it while removing the glass brick. The glass brick came out without having to shatter the individual bricks. The only concern is if the mortar will come off the side of the tub without damaging the finish. Worst case: the tub can be refinished.

As expected, dry rot was found under the deck of the west balcony.
