Painting (Oct/Nov)
The living room, entryway, and hallway came out so well we had to rearrange the furniture. Looks better, now.
The french door from the dining room to the back yard was stained and
varnished. It came out a little darker than we wanted, but still looks
pretty good.
The wallpaper in the main bath was removed and the walls primed. That
was followed with a latex base coat and an oil based glaze dabbed on for
a faux finish. Looks nice. Still have to do trim and ceiling.
The guest room bath is going to have a similar treatment. This is after
priming. We had to remove the toilet to get at the old wallpaper. A
replacement has been ordered as we were planning on replacing the old
one, anyway
