2001 camp-out plans

Apparently great minds think alike.

Last Sunday Jerry mentioned that he had fun on the camping trip but that
it was too, short.   Wouldn't you know it... I'd had that exact thought
a few nights earlier and had already decided to do something about it.
So, here's very early notification so all of you can get it on your 2001
schedules, now.

First, the 2001 Kings Canyon camp-out will is moving from the weekend after
Labor Day to the second weekend after Labor Day.   This is to allow Fred
(and Pete, should he join us) to go to a vintage quadracycle show they
keep mumbling about.   Of course, since the date is being moved for Fred,
anything that goes wrong -- especially weather related problems -- will
be Fred's fault :-)

Second, those who are interested in spending a bit more time in the wild
can plan on joining me Sunday night in Yosemite.   My tentative plans are
to make the Saturday ride to Kings Canyon the same.  Then Sunday, after
breakfast, we'll make it to Fresno (our first gas stop) as a group.  At
that point we'll split into two: one group heading home, the other heading
north on 41 to Yosemite via Oakhurst, Fish Camp, Badger Pass, etc.

Sunday night will be in Yosemite, then home on Monday via 120/205/580/etc

Sound good?   Any takers?   The dates will be:

	August 25/26, 2001:	Garnderville ride
	September 15-17, 2001:	Kings Canyon/Yosemite
	October 5-8, 2001:	Death Valley
