CA highway patrol

Hi All,
  This line of bikes is just moving too slow! I've got
Lady Luck on my shoulder, the weather is beautiful-
it's time to wick it up! I zoomed past Carl with a
friendly wave. Ah, freedom! About 90 seconds later, I
was pulled over by a friendly CHP officer.
  We had a nice chat as he wrote me a ticket. He
recommended that if I wanted to go fast, to go up to
Skyline or Highway 9. He said Hwy 17 was an official
enforcement zone and that six other CHP's were on duty
there this Sunday morning.
  Thoroughly chastened, I have vowed to control my
right hand when going to breakfast over 17. By the
way, I had company coming this morning, so decided to
take a leisurely ride home rather than continue on to
breakfast. I know of course that I would have received
much sympathy and commiseration at breakfast. As it
was, I imagine many tears were shed. I just hope I'm
not a boot nominee with this dumb stunt.
