Fw: [NorCalNOC] All Brit Ride photos.
Hi Jay
Here are some shots of the All British Ride yesterday, through the hills
and coast of west Marin and Sonoma Couties (Sat. 11/3/01).
Probably 150 bikes, with superb weather, wonderful roads and great route,
and fine fellowship, food and awards afterwards. The BSA Club really did it
right.
Marques included Ariel (two Square Fours), AJS, BSA, Enfield, Matchless,
Norton (many models and vintages), Rickman, Triumph (ditto), Velocette,
Vincent (I found myself flanked by a pair of Rapides at one stop), and
probably more I failed to jot down. The sounds and sights were grand. A
perfect Fall ride.
British bikes have to be the world's most enjoyable and fascinating
collection of fun machinery ever invented.
