Spring Death Valley Plans

This message should answer all the questions I got at breakfast last
Sunday regarding my plans for the spring Death Valley ride.  In typical
breakfast club fashion there will probably be several sub-groups doing
different routes at different times.  This is what I plan on doing.
Feel free to join me, join another group, lead anther group, or otherwise
ride your own ride.

Note 1:	all times (other than each day's initial departure time) are
	approximate.   The milage for each leg is also a WAG.

Note 2:	This route skips the Kern River entry to Lake Isabella on
	Friday.   I'll be doing it in the other direction on Sunday.


April 5 (Friday) Donut shop to Beatty
           
    Depart   Miles	Route
    6:00 AM    80	Donut shop -> 101 -> 25 -> Hollister
			Breakfast at the Cozy Cup
			Gas at the chevron

    8:30 AM    90	25 -> 198 -> Coallinga
			Stop for straglers at 25/198 junction
			Stop for gas in Coallinga

   10:30 AM    90	33 -> 46 -> Famosa
			Stop for gas at Famosa

   12:00 PM    60	Famosa Rd -> Granite Rd -> 155 -> Lake Isabella
			Lunch in Lake Isabella

    2:00 PM    60	178 -> Ridgecrest.
			Stop for gas in Ridgecrest

    3:00 PM   130	178 -> 190 -> 374 -> Beatty
			Rest stop at Stovepipe Wells


April 6 (Saturday) Beatty to Vegas and then back to Beatty

			Gas (and maybe lunch) in McKittrick

    2:00 PM    80	58 -> La Panza Rd -> Linne Rd -> Paso Robles


April 8 (Monday) Paso Robles to home
