My $500.00 no U turn by hidden cops patrolling an illegal sign is
living proof that law enforcement in today's economy is only after the
money.

Dan
Spoken like a man who just received a speeding ticket.:-)
Actually, I'm putting the Rau piece in the file I have for fighting a
red light camera ticket from 1/1/12.
My research on yellow light duration so far is inconclusive,
but I have been measuring local yellows for duration, with some
interesting results.
I'll keep you posted.

Well...this past month's Motorcycle Consumer News columnist, Fred
Rau,
researches to find a shocking number of states and municipalities
(including Union City CA) that have become outrageously blatant about
traffic enforcement being absolutely nothing more than revenue - by
gaming the system to scam motorists out of money.
So the next time the nice highway patrol officer is lecturing you on
safety, smile and know that they either believe their own propaganda,
or are more full of shit than a stockade.
