The Breakfast Club: Daylight savings
What better excuse for a spring ride than the start of daylight
savings time. After all, we all got 1 hour less sleep the previous
night. Breakfast was at Flames in San Jose. After breakfast
Fred insisted he'd Mt Hamilton on his mind for a while and that's
where he was going. Sounded good to a few others, too. High
points:
- The group split into 2 as Marc and Carl waited for Pete to
put some air in his tires using Marc's hand pump.
- We lost Fred. The group, together again (less Fred), saw
him on the road from the observatory. Maybe he doesn't
know the location of the observatory turn off?
- It took Marc quite a while (and lots of kicks) to get his
bike started after it had been sitting in the sun for 20-30
minutes. This only happens on hot days (and it was plenty hot).
In other news: Warren walked into the doctor's office and came out in a
wheelchair -- at least that's his story. Reg was showing a picture of
the remains of his BMW. He's not hurt.
