After shrewdly obtaining a postponement of his speeding ticket hearing while he was in Mexico, Dave managed to thwart the forces of traffic justice, when the Chippie who wrote him the ticket transferred out of the area, and was unable to appear for the trial.
Case dismissed. Breakfast at the Flames afterwards was on Dave - a very rare occasion indeed.
