I got up a bit early and took off toward breakfast before waiting for the group so I could catch them with camera in hand as they crested 17 on the way to Scotts Valley. The first two images were false starts. They are not SMBC members. Seemed a shame to waste the shots.

That was the group. Only 6 riders today. I expected more given the beautiful weather. I guess those who didn’t ride knew about the light fog in Scotts Valley.
