A new precedent was set in Gardnerville this year regarding the boot: you need not be present to win! Not attending the annual dinner will not get you out of a deserved award.

This year's recipient is Mac for various reasons, some of them old (a ride through gravel and ice documented here) and some of them new. However, Mac's chief failing in the last 12 months was moving to Houston! Sorry, Mac, but we miss you :-).
