i really like the idea of having a right lever doing the front braking and a
right pedal operating the rear brake, seperately. i have no idea what
situation they were trying to address, but riding a MC requires some degree
of skill. included in that required skill set is learning how to brake.
panic braking, trail braking, downhill front braking and whatever else comes
along. trying to 'engineer' a solution for unskilled riders is a total and
complete waste of energy. what results is an overly costly and complex
piece of plumbing with no purpose in life. those engineering dollars could
have been well spent solving a myriad of other know problems with the bmw
oilheads. i am sure it comes as no surprise to no one that the CA H.P.
refused to accept their replacement MCs with this 'feature' installed.
