Re: Heated Grips



Hi Bob,

I installed the factory kit on my '96 RT and as I remember it was quite 
easy, pretty much a plug-in affair along with the minor pains of 
threading the wiring where it needs to go and removing/reinstalling the 
grips themselves. Since you apparently also have a '96 one thing you 
might want to check is whether your handlebars are pre-drilled for the 
heated grip leads... on the RT's of that vintage some were delivered 
with the drilled bars and some were not. This concern may not apply to 
an RS since the RS bars are different than the RT but just thought I'd 
mention it...
