The shocks will be the same length as the OEM unless you want it changed.  They
can make them longer or shorter if you like, as well as giving you the option of
variable length.  A rear with adjustable rebound damping and remote preload
adjustment is less than Ohlins.  If you get the optional remote adjustable high
and low speed compression damping, it's about the same cost as Ohlins(w/o
adjustable compression damping).  The build quality is on par with Ohlins.

The OEM's need replacing.  Shocks are similar to tires, the degradation is
gradual and you generally don't really notice until you replace them and realize
how bad they were.
