Re: R1100RS mystery



Rob,  I think you should think carefully about taking the deal on a new 
bike, if you feel the offer is fair.  The new RS is really the same 
bike you now have.  Alternatively,  I think the new 1200GS is pretty 
sharp.  You might want to test ride one.  Very smooth.

I would be very uncomfortable selling the bike privately.  You would 
have to explain all these problems or you wouldn't be able to sleep at 
night.  Let the dealer warranty the thing after you trade it in.
