  I'm about to get BMW's low clip-on bars for my '01 R1100S. If you live in 
  the Toronto, Ontario area, and you have a set in good condition that you'd 
  like to swap them for BMW's high bars (the ones I currently have that mount 
  to the top of the triple tree), please contact me offline ASAP. My 
  alternative is to pay close to CAD$500 for the set from BMW. I'd like to 
  just meet with the prospective swappee over coffee rather than ship and wait 
  for parts. Thanks in advance.
