RE: Dealer rates

For future reference, a BMW dealer can tell you before they touch the bike
what the cost of one of the routine services will be, and what will be done
during that service. If you ask ahead of time, you won't be surprised when
you get the bill. $200 is quite reasonable for a 6000 mile service.

The bill was more than I expected.  Of course I didn't know what to
expect.  The total labor with the oil change was 1.75 hours.  The bill
reflected a complete list of things that were checked.
