Mostly dead
Plums that litter the driveway
The tree in the back yard (cedar?) and the three plum trees along the drivway are going away, today. The back yard tree is mostly dead. The plums used to be ornamental. Now the produce small plums about the size of cherry that litter the driveway for 6-8 weeks every year.
The green plum used to be red. It was cut down once but the stump wasn’t removed. What grew back was not only green, but a prodigious generator of driveway littering fruit.
Bye-bye
All gone but the stump
Maybe a place for a gazebo
I don’t know what we’re going to do with this area once the stump has been ground down. Maybe a small gazebo?
No more plum
Stumps will go later
The plum trees are gone. After the stumps are gound sometime next week I’ll re-do the garden lights that I removed earlier this week. They used to shine into the canopy of the trees. I think I’ll have them light up the fence. Also need to figure out what we’ll plant in place of the plums.

The tree people arrived this morning to grind the stumps of the trees they removed on 9/3. Once they were done I verified the lighting wiring wasn’t damaged then hooked up the garden lights. I did my best to put the wires deep.
