Skylights and Misc clean-up

The new skylights aren't ready, yet. In the mean while the membrane was sealed around the fireplace, vents, and plumbing. I need to re-insulate the plumbing, but will wait until the new skylights are in.

A section of gutter on the 2nd floor was replaced and a down spout added to bring the water to a drain in the walkway. When we moved in the gutter would fill up with water and then overflow onto the walkway. A temporary solution used for several years was to cover the gutter so that the rain would shower gently onto the walkway. A downspout it better.

The new skylights look much better. They have a slight grey tint which seems to cut down the glare. I'm betting they'll help keep the house cooler, too.
