1999 BMW K1200 LT
Rumors. For a year or so I kept hearing rumors about the new BMW touring bike. I almost hoped I wouldn't like the bike when I finally had a chance to see/hear/feel the real thing. That didn't stop me, however, from putting a deposit down in January for the model/color I could see myself riding. March 8th I had a chance to test ride a demo unit.
Damn.
I liked it.
March 12, 1999 I picked up mine. The Icon model in Basalt Grey. It was my main ride until I found a new love.
Pretty, isn't she? The picture of the instrument cluster shows that a CD was playing.
